Max Bill
Works and collection

Half of all artwork collected by Max Bill was bequeathed in an equal division of estate to his widow, the art historian Dr Angela Thomas. The collection is largely composed of works by Max Bill and Georges Vantongerloo, but other artists are also represented, in particular Bill’s mentors at the Bauhaus. The artwork is stored in a depot in Zurich; individual pieces on loan are sent directly from the warehouse to exhibitions throughout the world.
